Build confidence after you pass
Passing your test is the start of learning to drive on your own. Pass Plus is a DVSA training course for newly qualified drivers that covers the situations the driving test barely touches.
The six Pass Plus modules
- Town driving
- All-weather driving
- Out-of-town driving
- Night driving
- Driving on dual carriageways
- Motorway driving
The course takes a minimum of six hours, and there is no pass or fail: your instructor signs you off on each module as you get there.
Insurance discounts
Some insurers offer discounts to drivers who have completed Pass Plus. Discounts vary by company, so check with your insurer before you book to see whether it is worth it for you.
